29. Surah Al-'Ankabut, Verse 37

But they denied him, thus the Earthquake took them; they were then left dead in their homes.

But they denied him. Thereupon a dreadful rainstorm and earthquake overtook them, and morning found them dead, prone in their homes. (26:189).

Then they denied him, and the earthquake seized them, and morning found them lying prone in their home.

But they denied him, so the earthquake took them; thus they became lifeless in their dwelling.

But they denied him so the earthquake seized them and morning found them lying flattened in their homes.

They disbelieved him and, consequently, the earthquake annihilated them; they were left dead in their homes by morning.

But they denied him and were seized by an earthquake, and lay overturned in their homes in the morning.

But they denied him, so the earthquake seized them, and they became within their home [corpses] fallen prone.

But they gave him the lie. Thereupon an earthquake overtook them: and then they lay lifeless, in their very homes, on the ground.

But they accused him of falsehood and in consequence they were seized by the destructive convulsion of the earth's surface which reduced them into a useless form and laid them prostrate and dead under the ruins of their demolished homes.

They chose to disregard the message. Consequently I sent them a sever earthquake and by the morning they were all dead in their habitats.

And they belied him [Shu‘aib]: so the earthquake seized them, and they lay (dead), prostrate in their dwellings.

But they rejected him: Then the mighty Blast seized them, and they lay prostrate in their homes by the morning.

But they rejected him, so an ˹overwhelming˺ earthquake struck them and they fell lifeless in their homes.

So they gave the lie to him, then they were seized by the earthquake and they remained in their homes lying on their faces.

They rejected him and so the earthquake overtook them. When morning came, they were lying dead in their homes.

But they cried lies to him; so the earthquake seized them, and morning found them in their habitation fallen prostrate.

But they called him liar; and the convulsion seized them, and on the morrow they lay in their dwellings prone.

And unto Midian We sent their brother Shu'eyb, and he said, "My people, serve Allah, and fear the Last Day; and do not evil, making mischief in the land, (despoiling it). "

Yet they cried lies to him. Then the Commotion took them (away); so in the morning they became cowering (bodies) in their home-residence.

But they accused him of imposture; wherefore a storm from heaven assailed them, and in the morning they were found in their dwellings dead and prostrate.

And they rejected him: Then the mighty earthquake seized them, and they lay overcome (face down) in their homes by the morning.

But (instead of obeying him) they cried him (-Shu`aib) lies. So they were caught in a violent earthquake and they became (corpses) laid down on their breasts on the ground in their dwellings.

But they impugned him, whereupon the earthquake seized them, and they lay lifeless prostrate in their homes.
