28. Surah Al-Qasas, Verse 55
وَاِذَا سَمِعُوا اللَّغْوَ اَعْرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا لَـنَٓا اَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ اَعْمَالُكُمْۘ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْۘ لَا نَبْتَغِي الْجَاهِل۪ينَ
Wa-itha samiAAoo allaghwa aAAradooAAanhu waqaloo lana aAAmaluna walakumaAAmalukum salamun AAalaykum la nabtagheealjahileen
When they hear worthless talk they turn away from it and say, ‘We have our actions and you have your actions. Peace be upon you. We do not desire the company of the ignorant.’
