27. Surah An-Naml, Verse 10

"And throw down your staff. " So when he saw it vibrate as if it were a Jinn, he ran away and would not turn back. "O Moses, do not fear, for My messengers shall have no fear from Me."

Allah (revealed Guidance to Moses and) said, "Now rehearse the Truth. " When Moses did that, he felt that he had the vibrant Force of Truth in hand. Yet he was awe-struck by the uphill task before him, like grabbing a huge dragon. God said, "O Moses! Fear not - behold, the Messengers fear not in My Presence." (Please note 'kaannaha jann' = as if it was a dragon, concerning the 'asa' or staff in (27:10). Additional Tasreef: (7:108), (20:17-24), (26:10-15), (26:32-33), (28:31-32)).

“And cast thou thy staff.” And when he saw it stirring as if it were a dominus, he turned away, and did not return. “O Moses: fear thou not; the emissaries fear not in My presence,

"And cast down your staff." So when he saw it vibrate as if it were a Jinn, he ran away and would not turn back. "O Moses, do not fear, for My messengers shall have no fear from Me."

"Throw down your staff." So when he saw it vibrated as if it were a Jinni, he ran away and would not turn back. "O Moses, do not fear, for My messengers shall have no fear from Me."

Throw down your staff. ’ Then when he saw it slithering like a snake he turned and fled and did not turn back again. ‘Have no fear, Musa. In My Presence the Messengers have no fear –

"Throw down your staff." When he saw it moving like a demon, he turned around and fled. "O Moses, do not be afraid. My messengers shall not fear.

Throw down your staff. " When he saw it wriggling like a serpent he turned his back and fled without turning (to look). "O Moses, " (said the voice), "be not fearful. Surely those sent as messengers do not fear in My presence,

And [he was told], "Throw down your staff. " But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [ Allah said], "O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear.

[And then He said:] "Now throw down thy staff!" But when he saw it move rapidly, as if it were a serpent, he drew back [in terror], and did not [dare to] return. [And God spoke to him again:] O Moses! Fear not - for, behold, no fear need the message-bearers have in My Presence,

And throw down thy staff! But when he saw it writhing as it were a demon, he turned to flee headlong; (but it was said unto him): O Moses! Fear not! the emissaries fear not in My presence,

"Drop your staff". He said to Mussa. And when Mussa saw it moving as though it were a serpent personified, he withdrew in the face of danger and did not return. But he was told: "O Mussa do not be afraid and cast out of your mind the emotion of fear, for My Messengers fear naught in My immediate presence."

"Throw down your staff. " When Moses saw that his staff turned into a moving snake, he turned and ran, out of fear, without even looking back. [Then he heard:] “ O' Moses do not be afraid; my prophets should not fear.”

"And throw down your stick!" But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight, and did not look back. (It was said:) "O Mûsâ (Moses)! Fear not: verily the Messengers fear not in front of Me.

"Now do thou throw thy rod!" But when he saw it moving (of its own accord) as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: "O Moses!" (it was said), "Fear not: truly, in My presence, those called as messengers have no fear,-

Now, throw down your staff!" But when he saw it slithering like a snake, he ran away without looking back. ˹Allah reassured him,˺ "O Moses! Do not be afraid! Messengers should have no fear in My presence.

And cast your staff down." So when he saw it moving, as if it was a snake, he retreated turning his back, and did not look behind. "O Mūsā, be not scared. I am such that the messengers are not scared before Me,

Throw down your staff,’ but when he saw it moving like a snake, he turned and fled. ‘Moses, do not be afraid! The messengers need have no fear in My presence,

Cast down thy staff. ' And when he saw it quivering like a serpent he turned about, retreating, and turned not back. 'Moses, fear not; surely the Envoys do not fear in My presence,

throw down thy staff!' and when he saw it quivering, as though it were a snake, he turned back fleeing, and did not return. 'O Moses! fear not; verily, as for me - apostles fear not with me;

"O Moses! Verily, I am Allah, the Mighty, the Wise;

And cast down your staff. " So, as soon as he saw it shaking as if it were a jinni, he turned away withdrawing and did not retrace his steps. "O Mûsa, do not fear (anything). Surely I (am The One); the Emissaries do not fear (anything) close to Me.

Cast down now thy rod. And when he saw it, that it moved, as though it had been a serpent, he retreated and fled, and returned not. And God said, O Moses, fear not; for my messengers are not disturbed with fear in my sight:

"And now you throw your rod!" But when he saw it moving (by itself) like it was a snake, he was set back wondering, and (he) did not look back on his steps: (Again, the voice said), "O Musa (Moses)! Do not be afraid! Truly, in My Presence, those called as messengers (they) do not have (any) fear—

`And put down your staff (on the ground). ' When (Moses put down his staff) he saw it shifting about as if it were a tiny serpent with quick movements, he turned his back retreating and did not look behind. (Whereupon We said,) `O Moses! do not fear. Verily, I am the One in Whose presence the Messengers need have no fear.

‘Throw down your staff!’ And when he saw it wriggling, as if it were a snake, he turned his back [to flee], without looking back. ‘O Moses! ‘Do not be afraid. Indeed the apostles are not afraid before Me,
