21. Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 1

The judgment of mankind has come near, while they are turning away unaware.

Closer draws to people the time of their reckoning, and yet they turn away stubbornly heedless of it.

Drawn nigh to men has their reckoning, while they in heedlessness are turning away;

The judgment for the people has come near, while they are turning away unaware.

The judgment of people has come near, while they are turning away unaware.

Mankind’s Reckoning has drawn very close to them, yet they heedlessly turn away.

Fast approaching is the reckoning for the people, but they are oblivious, averse.

NEAR HAS COME the reckoning for men, but they turn away in remissness.

[The time of] their account has approached for the people, while they are in heedlessness turning away.

CLOSER DRAWS unto men their reckoning: and yet they remain stubbornly heedless [of its approach].

Their reckoning draweth nigh for mankind, while they turn away in heedlessness.

Peoples' Day of Judgement is approaching, yet they pay no attention, unwilling to receive it with consenting minds nor agree to consider it the one fact that destroys fiction.

Closer and closer approaches to mankind the day that they have to face their deeds; yet they are careless of such a most important event.

Draws near for mankind their reckoning, while they turn away in heedlessness.

Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away.

˹The time of˺ people’s judgment has drawn near, yet they are heedlessly turning away.

The reckoning of the people has drawn near to them, while they are in negligence, turning away (from its signs).

Ever closer to people draws their reckoning, while they turn away, heedless.

Nigh unto men has drawn their reckoning, while they in heedlessness are yet turning away;

Their reckoning draws nigh to men, yet in heedlessness they turn aside.

Say, "Each one has to wait, so wait you also! But in the end you shall know who it is that is on the straight and level path, and who it is that is guided right. "

Near to mankind has drawn their reckoning, and they, in (a state of) heedlessness, are veering away.

The time of giving up their account draweth nigh unto the people of Mecca; while they are sunk in negligence, turning aside from the consideration thereof.

Nearer and nearer comes to mankind the Accounting of their (actions); Yet they do not listen and they turn away with carelessness.

There has drawn nigh for the people (the Day of) their reckoning, yet they turn away in heedlessness.

Mankind’s reckoning has drawn near to them, yet they are disregardful in [their] obliviousness.
