2. Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 80
وَقَالُوا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّٓا اَيَّاماً مَعْدُودَةًۜ قُلْ اَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ عَهْداً فَلَنْ يُخْلِفَ اللّٰهُ عَهْدَهُٓ اَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Waqaloo lan tamassana annaruilla ayyaman maAAdoodatan qul attakhathtumAAinda Allahi AAahdan falan yukhlifa AllahuAAahdahu am taqooloona AAala Allahi ma lataAAlamoon
They say, ‘The Fire will only touch us for a number of days. ’ Say, ‘Have you made a contract with Allah – then Allah will not break His contract – or are you rather saying about Allah what you do not know?’
