2. Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 286
لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ نَفْساً اِلَّا وُسْعَهَاۜ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْۜ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَٓا اِنْ نَس۪ينَٓا اَوْ اَخْطَأْنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَٓا اِصْراً كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذ۪ينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِه۪ۚ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا۠ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا۠ وَارْحَمْنَا۠ اَنْتَ مَوْلٰينَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِر۪ينَ
La yukallifu Allahu nafsanilla wusAAaha laha ma kasabatwaAAalayha ma iktasabat rabbana latu-akhithna in naseena aw akhta/narabbana wala tahmil AAalayna isrankama hamaltahu AAala allatheena minqablina rabbana wala tuhammilnama la taqata lana bihi waAAfuAAanna waghfir lana warhamnaanta mawlana fansurna AAalaalqawmi alkafireen
Allah does not impose on any self any more than it can stand. For it is what it has earned; against it, what it has merited. Our Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or make a mistake! Our Lord, do not place on us a load like the one You placed on those before us! Our Lord, do not place on us a load we have not the strength to bear! And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy on us. You are our Master, so help us against the people of the kafirun.
