19. Surah Maryam, Verse 32

"And to be dutiful to my mother, and He did not make me a rebellious tyrant. "

"And He has made me kind to my mother, and has not made me haughty, unblessed. "

“And dutiful to my mother; and He has not made me arrogant or wretched.

"And to be dutiful to my mother, and He has not mademe a mischievous tyrant."

"To be dutiful to my mother, and He did not make me a rebellious tyrant."

and to show devotion to my mother. He has not made me insolent or arrogant.

"I am to honor my mother; He did not make me a disobedient rebel.

And be dutiful to my mother. He has not made me haughty or rebellious.

And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant.

and [has endowed me with] piety towards my mother; and He has not made me haughty or bereft of grace.

And (hath made me) dutiful toward her who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest.

" He emphasized that I should be kind and dutiful to my mother, and He excluded tyranny and depravity from my nature".

"God has made me to honor my mother; He has not made me a disobedient rebel. "

"And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.

"(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;

and to be kind to my mother. He has not made me arrogant or defiant.

and (He has made me) good to my mother, and he did not make me oppressive (or) ill-fated.

to cherish my mother. He did not make me domineering or graceless.

and likewise to cherish my mother; He has not made me arrogant, unprosperous.

and piety towards my mother, and has not made me a miserable tyrant;

"And He has made me blessed wherever I am; and He has required of me prayer and charity as long as I live,

And ever benign to my (female) parent; (Literally: She who gave birt to me) and He has not made me arrogant, wretched.

and he hath made me dutiful towards my mother, and hath not made me proud, or unhappy.

"[He (Allah)] has made me kind to my mother, and not arrogant or miserable;

`And (He has made me) dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me arrogant, graceless.

and to be good to my mother, and He has not made me self-willed and wretched.
