19. Surah Maryam, Verse 24

But then he called to her from beneath her: "Do not be sad, your Lord has made below you a stream. "

A voice came to her from beneath the palm-tree, "Grieve not! Your Lord has provided a rivulet beneath you. "

Then he called to her, from below her: “Grieve thou not; thy Lord has placed beneath thee a stream.

But then he called to her from beneath her: "Do not be sad, your Lord has made below you a stream."

But then he called to her from beneath her: "Do not be sad, your Lord has made below you a stream."

A voice called out to her from under her, ‘Do not grieve! Your Lord has placed a small stream at your feet.

(The infant) called her from beneath her, saying, "Do not grieve. Your Lord has provided you with a stream.

Then (a voice) called to her from below: "Grieve not; your Lord has made a rivulet gush forth right below you.

But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.

Thereupon [a voice] called out to her from beneath that [palm-tree]: "Grieve not! Thy Sustainer has provided a rivulet [running] beneath thee;

Then (one) cried unto her from below her, saying: Grieve not! Thy Lord hath placed a rivulet beneath thee,

There and then, a cry -of triumph and joy came out from below. The new born said to her: "Do not lament the event, Allah, your Creator, has provided beneath you a brook that is moved for you".

Then she heard a voice beneath her (most probably baby Jesus) saying:

Then [the babe ‘Îsâ (Jesus) or Jibrîl (Gabriel)] cried unto her from below her, saying: "Grieve not: your Lord has provided a water stream under you.

But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;

So a voice[1] reassured her from below her, "Do not grieve! Your Lord has provided a stream at your feet.

Then he called her from beneath her: "Do not grieve; your Lord has placed a stream beneath you.

but a voice cried to her from below, ‘Do not worry: your Lord has provided a stream at your feet

But the one that was below her called to her, 'Nay, do not sorrow; see, thy Lord has set below thee a rivulet.

and he called to her from beneath her, 'Grieve not, for thy Lord has placed a stream beneath thy feet;

And the labour pains came upon her at the trunk of a palm tree, and she said, "O that I had died before this, and become a thing of naught, forgotten!"

Then (one) called out to her from beneath her, "Do not grieve. Your Lord has already made beneath you a rivulet.

And He who was beneath her called to her, saying, be not grieved: Now hath God provided a rivulet under thee;

Then (a voice) cried to her from under (the tree): "Do not feel sad! Because your Lord has made (for you) a stream underneath you;

Then a voice called her from the side of the slope by her (saying), `Do not grieve, your Lord has placed a rivulet on the side of the slope by you (and a chief of the nation has born to you).

Thereupon he called her from below her [saying, ] ‘Do not grieve! Your Lord has made a spring to flow at your feet.
