12. Surah Yusuf, Verse 48

"Then will come seven after that which are severe in drought and which will consume all that you plant except for what you have stored. "

"Then after that will come seven dry seasons which will use up all that you have prepared for them, but a little that you have stored up. "

“Then will come after that seven hard; they will consume what you sent ahead for them save a little whereof you will keep in store.

"Then there will come seven after that which are severe and which will consume all that you plant except for what you have stored."

"Then after that will come seven ones severe in drought, which will consume all that you planted except for what you have stored."

Then after that seven hard years will arrive in which you can eat from what you set aside for them, except for a little which you store.

"After that, seven years of drought will come, which will consume most of what you stored for them.

Then there will come seven years of hardship which will consume the grain you had laid up against them, except a little you may have stored away.

Then will come after that seven difficult [years] which will consume what you saved for them, except a little from which you will store.

for, after that [period of seven good years] there will come seven hard [years] which will devour all that you shall have laid up for them, excepting only a little of that which you shall have kept in store.

Then after that will come seven hard years which will devour all that ye have prepared for them, save a little of that which ye have stored.

"Following this episode, there shall come seven droughty years consuming all that you have saved except the little which you have to use for seed. "

"After these seven years of affluence, you will face seven years of drought. Then it will be the time to consume what you have saved."

"Then will come after that, seven hard (years), which will devour what you have laid by in advance for them, (all) except a little of that which you have guarded (stored).

"Then will come after that (period) seven dreadful (years), which will devour what ye shall have laid by in advance for them,- (all) except a little which ye shall have (specially) guarded.

Then after that will come seven years of great hardship which will consume whatever you have saved, except the little you will store ˹for seed˺.

Then seven hard years shall come after that, which shall eat up what you have stored for them, except a little which you preserve (to sow).

After that will come seven years of hardship which will consume all but a little of what you stored up for them;

Then thereafter there shall come upon you seven hard years, that shall devour what you have laid up for them, all but a little you keep in store.

Then there shall come after that seven severe (years) which shall devour what ye have put by before for them, save a little of what ye shall preserve.

He said, "You shall sow for seven years, as is your wont; but what you reap, leave it in the ear, except a little whereof you eat.

Thereafter; even after that, (there) will come up seven strict (years), that will eat whatever you have forwarded to them, excepting a little of what you safely attend to.

Then shall there come, after this, seven grievous years of famine, which shall consume what ye shall have laid up as a provision for the same, except a little which ye shall have kept.

Then after that will come (a period of) seven terrible (and hard years), which will eat (away) what you will have saved before for them— (All) except a little which you will have saved (specially for seed).

`Then there shall follow seven (years of famine) of great severity (and) these (years) shall consume all the stores you have laid by in advance for them except a little which you may have preserved.

Then after that there will come seven hard years which will eat up whatever you have set aside for them —all except a little which you preserve [for seed].
