70. Surah Al-Ma'arij, Verse 40

So I swear by the Lord of the east and the west that We are able.

But nay! I call to Witness the Lord of all points in the East and all points in the West, behold, We are Able -

Then do I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are able

So I do swear by the Lord of the east and the west, that We are able.

So I swear by the Lord of the east and the west that We are able.

No! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and Wests that We have the power

I solemnly swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests; we are able -

So I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able

So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able

But nay! I call to witness [Our being] the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise and sunset: verily, well able are We

But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able

I swear by the Creator of all eastern cardinal points near which the sun rises in its apparent passage through the signs of the Zodiac and the Creator of all the western cardinal points lying opposite those in the east and near which the sun sets, that We are able to effect any changes at will;

Your Lord solemnly swears that as He is able to make the stars to rise and to die, …

So I swear by the Lord of all the [three hundred and sixty-five (365)] points of sunrise and sunset in the east and the west that surely We are Able

Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly-

So, I do swear by the Lord of ˹all˺ the points of sunrise and sunset[1] that We are truly capable

So, I swear by the Lord of the points of sunrise and those of sunset, We are powerful

and, by the Lord of every sunrise and sunset, We have the power

No! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and Wests, surely We are able

And I need not swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests; verily, we are able

But nay! I swear by (or call to witness) the Lord of all points of the rising and setting places East and West that We are certainly Able

Yet no, I swear by The Lord of the easts and the wests; surely We are indeed (the) Determiners.

I swear by the Lord of the east and of the west, that We are able to destroy them,

But now, I swear by the Lord of (every point in) the Easts' and the Wests' that We can certainly—

But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the easts and the wests. We are certainly Powerful

So I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We are able
