7. Surah Al-A'raf, Verse 82

The only response of his people was: "Drive them out of your town; they are a people who wish to be pure!"

They said, "Drive them out of your town! These people want to be models of purity. "

And the response of his people was only that they said: “Turn them out of your city; they are a people who keep themselves pure!”

The only response of his people was: "Drive them out of your town; they are a people who wish to be pure!"

The only response of his people was, "Drive them out of your town; they are a people who wish to be pure!"

The only answer of his people was to say, ‘Expel them from your city! They are people who keep themselves pure!’

His people responded by saying, "Evict them from your town. They are people who wish to be pure."

His people made no answer, and only said: "Drive them out of the city. They profess to be pure."

But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure. "

But his people's only answer was this: "Expel them from your land! Verily, they are folk who make themselves out to be pure!"

And the answer of his people was only that they said (one to another): Turn them out of your township. They are folk, forsooth, who keep pure.

But what was the response of his people other than to say: " Oust Lut, his family and those who fell in line of your town, and drive them away; they are averse to our disposition and wish to cleanse themselves of what they imagine to be moral defilement".

Their only response was: "Deport these [God fearing] people out of here as they are too pious [and a threat to our ". .. way of life."]

And the answer of his people was only that they said: "Drive them out of your town, these are indeed men who want to be pure (from sins)!"

And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"

But his people’s only response was to say, "Expel them from your land! They are a people who wish to remain chaste!"

The answer of his people was no other than to say, "Expel them from your town. They are a people who pretend too much purity."

The only response his people gave was to say [to one another], ‘Drive them out of your town! These men want to keep themselves chaste!’

And the only answer of his people was that they said, 'Expel them from your city; surely they are folk that keep themselves clean!'

But his people's answer only was to say, 'Turn them out of your village, verily, they are a people who pretend to purity. '

But his people's answer was only to say, "Turn them out of your communities. Verily, they are a people who strive to purity."

And in no way was the answer of his people (anything) except that they said, "Drive them out of your town; surely they are a folk who constantly purify themselves. "

But the answer of his people was no other than that they said the one to the other, expel them from your city; for they are men who preserve themselves pure from the crimes which ye commit.

And his people did not answer except this: They said: "Drive them out of your city: These are men who want to be clean and pure from sins!"

His people had no reply to make but that they said (to one another), `Turn them (- Lot and his followers) out of your township, for they are a people who show off to be pure. '

But the only answer of his people was that they said, ‘Expel them from your town! They are indeed a puritanical lot. ’
