وَلَنُذ۪يقَنَّهُمْ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَدْنٰى دُونَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

Walanutheeqannahum mina alAAathabial-adna doona alAAathabi al-akbari laAAallahumyarjiAAoon

We will give them a taste of lesser punishment before the greater punishment, so that hopefully they will turn back.
