21. Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 89

And Zachariah when he called out to his Lord: "My Lord, do not leave me without an heir, and You are the best inheritor. "

And Zachariah called unto his Lord, O My Sustainer! Leave me not childless! However, I do realize that You will remain when all else has ceased to be! You are the Ultimate of the inheritors. (3:33), (19:5-7).

And Zachariah: when he called to his Lord: “My Lord: leave Thou me not solitary; and Thou art the best of inheritors,”

AndZachariah when he called out to his Lord: "My Lord, do not leave me without an heir, and You are the best inheritor."

And Zachariah when he called out to his Lord: "My Lord, do not leave me without an heir, and You are the best inheritor."

And Zakariyya when he called out to his Lord, ‘My Lord, do not leave me on my own, though You are the Best of Inheritors. ’

And Zachariah implored his Lord: "My Lord, do not keep me without an heir, though You are the best inheritor."

(Remember) Zachariah when he called to his Lord: "Do not leave me alone (and childless), for you are the best of givers. "

And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors. "

AND [thus did We deliver] Zachariah when he cried out unto his Sustainer: "O my Sustainer! Leave me not childless! But [even if Thou grant me no bodily heir, I know that] Thou wilt remain when all else has ceased to be!"

And Zachariah, when he cried unto his Lord: My Lord! Leave me not childless, though Thou art the Best of inheritors.

And Zakariya -Zacharias- when he invoked Allah, his Creator, and said: "O Allah, my Creator, leave me not childless, a quality imparting the feeling of loneliness -a child not to inherit me but to pursue the same line of action so that Your word may have a free course-. When it comes to inheritance You are indeed the Only and the best heir Who shall inherit the whole and all in all"

As for Zechariah, he cried to his Lord saying: "My Lord, do not leave me alone (without any child and inheritor) even though (it is a pleasure to have you as inheritor; after all,) you are the best inheritor.

And (remember) Zakariyyâ (Zachariah), when he cried to his Lord: "O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors."

And (remember) Zakariya, when he cried to his Lord: "O my Lord! leave me not without offspring, though thou art the best of inheritors."

And ˹remember˺ when Zachariah cried out to his Lord, "My Lord! Do not leave me childless, though You are the Best of Successors."[1]

And (remember) Zakariyyā when he called his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone and You are the best of inheritors."

Remember Zachariah, when he cried to his Lord, ‘My Lord, do not leave me childless, though You are the best of heirs.’

And Zachariah -- when he called unto his Lord, 'O my Lord, leave me not solitary; though Thou art the best of inheritors. '

And Zachariah, when he cried unto his Lord, 'O Lord! leave me not alone; for thou art the best of heirs. '

And We answered him, and saved him from the distress. Thus do We deliver those who have faith.

As Zakariyya, (Zechariah) as he called out to his Lord, "Lord! Leave me not out single, (i. e., without offspring) and You are The Most Charitable of inheritors!"

And remember Zacharias, when he called upon his Lord, saying, O Lord, leave me not childless: Yet thou art the best heir.

And (remember) Zakariyya (Zachariah), when he cried to his Lord: "O my Lord! Do not leave me without children, even though You are the best of inheritors. "

And (We showed Our favours to) Zachariah. Behold! he called out to his Lord and prayed to Him, `My Lord, do not leave me solitary, alone (and heirless), You are Best of those who remain after (-You alone are the Everlasting God).'

And Zechariah, when he cried out to his Lord, ‘My Lord! Do not leave me without an heir, and You are the best of inheritors. ’
