وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَكَانَ لِزَاماً وَاَجَلٌ مُسَمًّىۜ

Walawla kalimatun sabaqat minrabbika lakana lizaman waajalun musamma

And were it not for a prior word from your Lord, and a specified term, it would inevitably have already taken place.
