قَوْلٌ مَعْرُوفٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ يَتْبَعُهَٓا اَذًىۜ وَاللّٰهُ غَنِيٌّ حَل۪يمٌ

Qawlun maAAroofun wamaghfiratun khayrun minsadaqatin yatbaAAuha athan wallahughaniyyun haleem

Correct and courteous words accompanied by forgiveness are better than sadaqa followed by insulting words. Allah is Rich Beyond Need, All-Forbearing.
