13. Surah Ar-Ra'd, Verse 7

And those who reject Say: "If only a sign was sent down to him from his Lord. " You are but a warner, and to every nation is a guide.

The rejecters of the Truth keep complaining, "Why has no miracle ever been bestowed upon him from his Lord?" You (O Prophet) are but a Warner for every nation there is and ever will be. (The Perfect Divine Guidance through the Prophet shall be preserved in the form of the Qur'an for all times and all peoples (6:34), (6:91), (6:116), (10:64), (15:9), (18:27), (41:53), (75:16-19). And his prime duty is to counsel mankind that false individual or collective systems of life only end up in disaster).

And those who ignore warning say: “Oh, that a proof were but sent down upon him from his Lord!” Thou art but a warner; and for every people is a guide.

And those who reject say: "If only a sign was sent down to him from his Lord." You are but a warner, and to every people is a guide.

Those who reject say, "If only a sign was sent down to him from his Lord." You are but a warner, and to every nation is a guide.

Those who are kafir say, ‘If only a Sign could be sent down to him from his Lord!’ You are only a warner. Every people has a guide.

Those who disbelieved say, "If only a miracle could come down to him from his Lord (we will then believe)." You are simply a warner - every community receives a guiding teacher.

The unbelievers say: "Why no miracle was sent down to him by his Lord?" But you are only a bearer of warnings, and a guide for every nation.

And those who disbelieved say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" You are only a warner, and for every people is a guide.

However, they who are bent on denying the truth [refuse to believe and] say, "Why has no miraculous sign ever been bestowed on him from on high by his Sustainer?" [But] thou art only a warmer; and [in God] all people have a guide.

Those who disbelieve say: If only some portent were sent down upon him from his Lord! Thou art a warner only, and for every folk a guide.

Yet the infidels defiantly say: "If only a sign other than the Quran be revealed to him to evince both his wisdom and the truth of his mission!". But you are only a spectacle and a warning, and to every nation did Allah send a Messenger with the truth that guides into all truth.

The disbelievers say: "If he had presented a miracle, we would have believed in him. " Your mission is to warn the people (not to impress them with the miracles. Besides, did the previous people submitted to the truth after having been exposed to so many undeniable miracles?) Every nation had a guiding teacher like you.

And the disbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide.

And the Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" But thou art truly a warner, and to every people a guide.

The disbelievers say, "If only a sign could be sent down to him from his Lord." You ˹O Prophet˺ are only a warner. And every people had a guide.

The disbelievers say, "Why is it that no sign has been sent down to him from his Lord?" You are but a warner; and for every people there is a guide.

The disbelievers say, ‘Why has no miracle been sent down to him from his Lord?’ But you are only there to give warning: [earlier] communities each had their guide.

The unbelievers say, 'Why has a sign not been sent down upon him from his Lord?' Thou art only a warner, and a guide to every people.

Those who misbelieve say, 'Unless a sign be sent down upon him from his Lord. ...' - Thou art only a warner, and every people has its guide.

They ask you to hasten on the evil rather than the good; yet examples come to pass before them: but your Lord is rich in forgiveness unto mankind despite their wrongdoing; but, verily, your Lord is also strict in punishment.

And the ones who have disbelieved say, "Had there been a sign sent down upon him from his Lord!" Surely you are only a constant warner, and for every people a guide.

The infidels say, unless a sign be sent down unto him from his Lord, we will not believe. Thou art commissioned to be a preacher only, and not a worker of miracles: And unto every people hath a director been appointed.

And the disbelievers say: "Why is a Sign not sent down to him (the Prophet) from his Lord?"— You are truly a warner, and to every people there is a guide.

And those who disbelieve say, `Why has no sign (of destruction) been sent down to him from his Lord?' While you are nought but a Warner and a Guide for every people.

The faithless say, ‘Why has not some sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ You are only a warner, and there is a guide for every people.
