68. Surah Al-Qalam, Verse 13

Unappreciative, and greedy.

- Or to one greedy to the extent of insensitivity, and, in addition, worthless to the society.

Relentless and useless,

Unappreciative, and greedy.

Ignoble, and additionally, mischievous.

gross, coarse and furthermore, despicable,

Unappreciative, and greedy.

Crude, and above all, mean and infamous,

Cruel, moreover, and an illegitimate pretender.

[or] one who is cruel, by greed possessed, and, in addition to all this, utterly useless [to his fellow-men].

Greedy therewithal, intrusive.

Moreover, cruel, hurtful and callous.

… above all, a low life at birth.

Cruel, and moreover base-born (of illegitimate birth).

Violent (and cruel),- with all that, base-born,-

brute, and—on top of all that—an illegitimate child.

harsh, (and) after all that, notorious,

coarse, and on top of all that, an imposter.

moreover ignoble,

rude, and base-born too;

Ignoble (violent, cruel and greedy), besides all that, base-born (inherently degenerate);

Coarse-grained, and of spurious parentage after all (Literally: after that)

cruel, and besides this, of spurious birth:

Violent (and cruel) and in addition a shrewd manipulator—

(Nor listen to any) hard-hearted ruffian who is, above all this, utterly useless and known for mischief making,

callous and, on top of that, baseborn,
