وَهُوَ الَّذ۪ي جَعَلَ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِمَنْ اَرَادَ اَنْ يَذَّكَّرَ اَوْ اَرَادَ شُكُوراً

Wahuwa allathee jaAAala allayla wannaharakhilfatan liman arada an yaththakkara aw aradashukoora

It is He who made night and day succeed each other for those who want to pay heed or to give thanks.
