21. Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 6

None of the towns which We destroyed before them had believed. Will they believe

Not one of the communities before them which Our Law destroyed, believed (in their Messengers). Will these, then, believe?

No city believed before them among those We destroyed; will they then believe?

None of the towns which We destroyed before them had believed. Will they be the ones who believe?

None of the towns which We destroyed before them had acknowledged. Will they acknowledge?

None of the cities which We destroyed before them had iman. So will they?

We never annihilated a believing community in the past. Are these people believers?

Not one habitation that We destroyed before them had believed. So how can they believe?

Not a [single] city which We destroyed believed before them, so will they believe?

Not one of the communities that We destroyed in bygone times would ever believe [their prophets]: will these, then, [be more willing to] believe?

Not a township believed of those which We destroyed before them (though We sent them portents): would they then believe?

-In response to their insolence and defiance-, Allah says: Miraculous signs were presented to generations before them whom We reduced to a useless form on account of their rejection and denial of divine truth, therefore, what chance is there that these infidels will recognize Allah and in Him they will believe!

Not even one of those towns which I destroyed believed (in the miracles of their Prophets. ) Will these people believe then (if I give you a miracle?)

Not one of the towns (populations), of those which We destroyed, believed before them (though We sent them signs): will they then believe?

(As to those) before them, not one of the populations which We destroyed believed: will these believe?

Not a ˹single˺ society We destroyed before them ever believed ˹after receiving the signs˺. Will these ˹pagans˺ then believe?

Not a single town from those whom We destroyed came to believe before them. So, will they believe?

But of the communities We destroyed before them not a single one believed. Will these now believe?

Not one city that We destroyed before them believed; what then, will they not believe?

No city before them which we destroyed believed - how will they believe?

"Nay!" they say, "Muddled dreams; nay! He has forged it; nay! He is a poet; but let him bring us a sign as those of yore were sent. "

In no way did any town that We caused to perish believe before them. Would they then believe?

None of the cities which We have destroyed, believed the miracles which they saw performed, before them: Will these therefore believe, if they see a miracle?

(As to those people) before them, not even one of the peoples whom We destroyed believed: Will these believe?

(Whereas) before them no people of a township whom We destroyed had ever believed. Would they then believe (to escape destruction).

No town that We destroyed before them believed. Will these then have faith [if they are sent signs]?
